 ü      Plus your deer tag.   Application for your deer tag must be submitted to Kansas Wildlife and Parks by May 31st.  We can provide you with a landowner tag at an additional charge if you are unsuccessful in the drawing. 

Hunt description:

Hunts are conducted on over 25,000 acres of private ranchland in Southeastern Kansas, Unit 12, (Chautauqua County).  These are working cattle ranches with wheat, corn and Milo being the primary agricultural crops.  The terrain is a mix of rich river bottom, (the Caney River), scattered strands of timber, (oak, walnut and others), dense cedar glades and plum thickets, deep brush choked canyons, coulees and draws, watersheds, and tall grass prairie. Hunting is done from tree stands as well as box and tent blinds.  We have exclusive archery only hunting areas.

What is included in the full service hunt package:

§ Five full days of hunting; arrive midday the day before first hunting day; leave by noon the

      day after the hunt ends.  Number of hunting days can be customized.

§ Comfortable lodging on our ranch property.

§ Licensed guides working hard to put you into position to take a quality animal.

§ Quality stands and blinds placed in “up to date” prime locations.

§ Transportation to and from your deer stands twice daily.

§       Field dressing and transportation of your deer to camp or to our local locker

     for processing.

What is not included in the full service hunt package:

§ Your deer tag ($321 in 2005) and Kansas hunting license ($70.50 in 2005).

§ Processing of your deer; available locally for $75 per deer.  You may do it yourself at

       camp.

§ Meal service by our camp cook for $150 per person, per week.  You may prepare

     your own food in our furnished camp house or drive to town for meals. 

§ Airport pick up, taxidermy services, shipping your meat or antlers, alcohol, tobacco,

      gratuities.

Drop camp hunters are assigned a sufficient amount of our private ranchland and are oriented to the land.  Stands are placed for the hunters well in advanced of their arrival. Deer travel patterns, feeding habits, etc. are explained so as to give the hunter a tremendous advantage over a cold start on unfamiliar hunting property.  The drop camp price is based on five full hunting days and can be customized.

Spring Gobbler Hunt Package: ----------------------------------------------------------------$1,000

Season dates run from mid April thru May 31st.

The Gobblers we have are Eastern and Rio Grands. 

What is included in the Hunt:

§ Three full days of hunting;

§ Lodging;

§ Blinds in prime locations;

§    Orientation and assistance.

What is not included in the Hunt: 

Annual Kansas statewide hunting license ($70.50), and over the counter turkey tags, ($31 for your first turkey tag, $21 for your second turkey tag).   Fishing license if desired is ($21.00).
